Panasonic introduces its new Nanoe X Air Purifier during CES this year and it is made in a small structure that is meant to sit comfortably in the cupholder of nearly any car. It helps with filtering any odors as well as pathogenic viruses and bacteria that are in the air.

It uses the company’s Nanoe X technology, which has hydroxyl radicals — this is a diatomic molecule that is known to function as a ‘detergent’ when it meets with pollutants. Panasonic notes that it takes about two hours for the machine to freshen up the car cabin, whilst producing only approximately 36 decibels of sound. To work, it simply needs to be plugged into the car’s USB port.
