A refreshing break from the onslaught of pumpkin products available this time of year, the new Butternut Squash and Caramelized Onion Tart offers a delicious new way to enjoy winter squash. The new dish starts is a flaky and buttery pastry dough base, which is then topped with a savory filling of caramelized onions seasoned with sage and cyanine pepper. The edges of the dough are folded and pleated inward, and some sweet cubes of butternut squash are added on top. Finally, the whole thing is baked until golden brown so you can enjoy that delicious bakery experience at home.
