Trader Joe’s new Blueberry & Lemon Hand Pies are made by the same supplier who whips up the chain’s Apple Pumpkin Hand Pies each fall. The newest seasonal product consists of flaky pastry wrapped around a filling of fresh blueberries and sweet-tart sugared lemon.
And just as the name suggests, these pies come in single-serve, hand-holdable sizes, which makes them easy to enjoy on the go or to pack for lunch at the office or school. If you’re enjoying the pies at home, Trader Joe’s suggests warming them up in the oven or dessert for that freshly baked taste.
