Grammy-winning musician The Weeknd has tapped Superplastic to create a collection commemorating the 10th anniversary of the artist’s debut album, “Kiss Land.” Superplastic’s signature SuperJanky design takes center stage for this release, with three platinum vinyl figures in striking green, black, and red hues. Each figure is adorned with removable VR goggles that conceal their 3D eyes.
The collection is marketed towards fans of The Weekend, who currently holds the title of the world’s most popular artist. Released precisely a decade after the debut of “Kiss Land,” this limited-edition toy collection reflects the substantial impact of the album.
“It’s surreal to look back on 10 years since the release of Kiss Land and to see the lasting impact this album has had on me as an artist and how it continues to be received by my fans,” The Weekend said in a statement. “The Kiss Land collection is in recognition of this journey we are on together, and I am grateful to Superplastic for helping to bring this vision to life and celebrate this special moment.”
