The International Convention Centre in Sydney
(ICC Sydney) has appointed Adam Smith as Director of Building
Services.

An astute hospitality and events industry manager,
Adam joins ICC Sydney’s leadership team with more than 20 years of
experience delivering successful business strategies, ensuring
premium customer experiences and leading high performance teams.

Adam commenced in the role as ICC Sydney’s
Director of Business Services on 27 March, following a long tenure
at the Australian Turf Club as General Manager where he oversaw
security, transport, traffic management and construction projects
as well as major events.

“I am delighted to have the opportunity to
contribute to ICC Sydney’s world class services and reputation on
the global stage. I’m particularly looking forward to combining my
passion for visitor safety, security and premium services for
clients and attendees at ICC Sydney,” Adam said.

ICC Sydney is managed by ASM Global.

“Adam brings a depth of industry knowledge,
ability and strong leadership credentials to the role of Director
of Building Services, and we look forward to working alongside him
to drive the continued enhancement of key venue services that
include security and venue presentation,” said Geoff Donaghy, CEO
of ICC Sydney and Group Director of Convention Centres at ASM
Global (APAC).
