One of the UK’s leading campaigning communications agencies and social enterprise, the Adam Bradford Agency (www.AdamBradford.Agency), has announced that the brother of its founder, Alex Bradford, has been promoted to the newly created position of Director of Delivery and Governance.

Adam Bradford Agency won Campaigning Communications Agency of the Year in 2022 and its founder, Queen’s Young Leader Adam Bradford, won the accolade of ‘One To Watch: Top 10 Entrepreneurs to Watch in 2023’ from leading global business magazine Prime Vision.

The business now has a permanent base in East Africa, inspired by a number of its programmes to mentor young people into business on the continent and after a successful participation in the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Kigali, Rwanda last year.

The business has delivered projects for Nando’s, The National Trust and Pearson College London.

Alex, 27, was part of a high school team headed by Adam which won a number of awards for youth enterprise – over fifteen years ago – when the Bradfords first went into business. Adam, a graduate of Dragon’s Den star Peter Jones’ Enterprise Academy, spoke on the company’s new appointment: ‘This year is one of massive growth for the Agency in terms of our reach and the gravity of our programmes and it is my pleasure to have Alex by our management team’s side in overseeing our most important output – our delivery.’

Commenting on his appointment, Alex said: ‘I am very pleased to be given this opportunity to oversee delivery during this exciting time of ABA’s growth, and look forward to building upon the strong relationships we have with all stakeholders, in creating a positive impact in the communities we work with.’

As part of the upcoming changes, Emmanuel Nshimiyimana, who is based in Rwanda and also is the CEO of RwandOpp, a non-profit which gives opportunities to young people in rural communities, has been promoted to the position of Africa Specialist after advising the team on a variety of development and social impact programmes in the region.

Commenting on this new position, Nshimiyimana said: “It has been an honour and a privilege to have worked alongside the ABA programs in Rwanda and in the region. Being promoted to this new role is a great opportunity to maximize the impacts by giving young entrepreneurs in Africa business opportunities and working collaboratively with the local governments”.
