Accor has expanded the Pullman brand to the
southern coast of Lombok island in Indonesia.
The 257-room resort, nestled within a secluded bay
and surrounded by verdant hills, is a 20-minute drive from Lombok
International Airport and close to the Pertamina Mandalika
International Street Circuit.
Each room at the resort features a private
balcony with the choice of either a garden or stunning
Indian Ocean views. Handcrafted bath amenities using locally
sourced ingredients for suites and villas are available to upgrade
the resort stay experience.
“The Pullman Lombok Merujani Mandalika Beach
Resort is a fantastic addition to our network in Indonesia. The
resort perfectly blends our stylish Pullman concepts with the
local artistry of Indonesian designers, ensuring a vibrant
experience across every touch point of the resort,” said Garth
Simmons, Chief Executive Officer of Accor Southeast Asia, Japan
and South Korea. “Pullman Lombok Merujani Mandalika Beach Resort
boasts a modern and connective experience with extensive fitness
and wellbeing facilities, enabling guests to maintain peak
performance and personal wellbeing whilst on the road.”
Facilities at the resort include four F&B outlets
– including a swim-up bar by the resort’s free-form swimming pool;
a fitness centre; spa with four treatment rooms; and a choice of
meeting and event spaces.
“We are very excited to introduce the first
Pullman resort in Lombok at this prime location on the southern
coast. We strive to provide travelers with inspiring, active and
fun programs that focus on their wellbeing. Art also plays a
significant part of the resort’s programming, allowing for a
seamless playground to unlock guests’ imagination. We are thrilled
to invite travelers to explore and up their game at our new
vibrant playground in Lombok,” said Vincent Wybier, General
Manager of Pullman Lombok Merujani Mandalika Beach Resort.
While in Lombok, guests can explore Tanjung
Aan Beach, Selong Belanak Beach and Kuta Beach, with plenty of
surfing and snorkeling opportunities available.
Trekking trails at Merese Hill and Mount Tunak Nature Park offer views of rolling,
forested hills and sunsets over the Indian Ocean.
Visitors can
also visit Ende and Sade villages to immerse in the traditional
culture of Lombok’s Sasak people.
“Pullman Lombok Merujani Mandalika Beach Resort is
the first five-star resort built in Mandalika, one of Indonesia’s
Super Priority Tourism Destinations owing to its natural beauty
and cultural richness,” said Ari Respati, President Director of PT
Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero) and the Indonesia
Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC). “Mandalika will host world-class motorsport
events such as the MotoGP and the World Superbike (WSBK) at our
very own Mandalika International Circuit. We believe that
travelers will continue to travel to the Mandalika area with
MotoGP, WSBK, the Circuit and our new Pullman Resort serving as
key attractions, thus creating a multiplier effect for the
community.”
