Walmart is launching various new tools designed to help its customers shop easier. These tools include a new enhanced search, beauty try-on experience, and voice assistance powered by generative artificial intelligence (AI).
The new enhanced search allows users to search by specific use cases, streamlining the search process and eliminating the need for multiple separate searches. Additionally, a GenAI assistant is being introduced to aid customers in making complex purchasing decisions, and a new voice experience within the Walmart mobile app enables hands-free shopping.
In the beauty aisle, Walmart is rolling out a new try-on experience that adapts to different skin tones and face shapes. This tool is available for over 1,400 blush/bronzer, eyeshadow, and lip products.
