The Acting Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), Adepoju Carol Wura-Ola, has expressed satisfaction with the level of work going on at the Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM) plant in Nnewi, Anambra State.
She made the commendation on Tuesday, 11th of July, 2023 during a working tour of the factory.
Wura-Ola, who took note of the huge number of employees of the company, stated that Anambra State as an industrial hub remains of utmost importance to Nigeria.
She said: “I’m taking a work tour of all the formations under me and Anambra is very important to me, being a hub of industry in Nigeria”.
The Immigration boss added that such local manufacturing depicts great possibilities for Nigerian youths.
“This great vehicle manufacturing plant is very impressive and should encourage Nigerian youths that the future of this country is very bright, especially in this dispensation.
“This is very nice, you can see the number of people working here and from the look of things, you can see fulfillment and satisfaction. We take pride in seeing that all these kinds of things are being manufactured in this country”.
While appreciating the NIS team for the visit, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Innoson Vehicles, Chief Dr. Innocent Chukwuma, reminded all that Innoson vehicles are for Nigerians.
“Everyone in this country knows that this plant is not for but for Nigeria, so let’s support this plant to help to move the economy”.
