Craig Cochrane has moved to Bangkok, Thailand as
Chief People Officer of Minor Hotels.
Craig joins the group from Accor Hotels where he
worked as Senior Vice President of Talent & Culture –
Turkey, India, Middle East & Africa, since 2018.
Between 2012 and 2018, Craig worked as Senior VP
Human Resources with Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts based out of
Zurich and Dubai – an executive role he was promoted to after
serving as the group’s VP of Human Resources, Middle East and Asia
for almost five years, overseeing 32 operating hotels and 20 under
development.
Prior to joining Mövenpick, Craig
held key executive Human Resources positions with Jumeirah
in Dubai and Shanghai, including the post of Resort
Director of Human Resources, Madinat Jumeirah, which employed
3,500 people at the time.
In his new role at Minor, Craig, a British national, will oversee
people and culture functions, including, employee
engagement, maintaining a strong company culture during the group’s rapid expansion phase and leading learning and development programmes.

Craig has a Bachelor of Science (BSc)
degree in Hotel and Tourism Management from Sheffield Hallam
University in the UK.
