LG launched the CineBeam Smart portable projector, the latest release in the company’s ‘CineBeam’ line of image projectors. The Smart features an incredibly small chassis, taking up a few square inches of space on a desk or table, as the device is a 2.6-inch tall, 5.8-inch wide square. Despite the small size of the device, this projector outputs up to a 120-inch screen displaying a resolution of 1920 x 1080p.
The display has a refresh rate of 60Hz and a maximum display angle of 30-degrees, meaning the projector can be slightly misaligned to the wall while still displaying an accurate image. As this is a smart projector, LG equipped the device with webOS 22, the company’s Smart TV operating system. As a result of this, the projector supports video streaming services, content casting, and the ability to display media from connected hardware.
