Emirates has confirmed that it will ramp up the frequency
of flights to Hong Kong
with a daily non-stop service from its Dubai hub, starting 29
March 2023 – just in time for the world-famous Hong Kong Sevens
which will take place 31 March – 2 April 2023.
The new service adds to Emirates’ existing daily flight from Dubai to Hong
Kong via Bangkok, and pushes the airline’s operations in the
market up to 14 flights per week.
Operated with Airbus A380 aircraft, Emirates’
flight EK380 is scheduled to depart Dubai at 10:45 and arrive in Hong Kong
at 22:00. The return flight, EK381, is timed to leave from Hong Kong at
00:35, arriving in Dubai at 05:00.
The resumption of flights
EK380/EK381, gives travellers the choice of flying non-stop or breaking
their journey in Thailand while also giving the carrier’s cargo
business an important boost.
Emirates currently deploys its flagship A380 to 40
destinations worldwide including London Heathrow, Sydney and
Houston. The double-decker is expected to serve nearly
50 destinations by the end of this summer.
