A Jackson florist shop that was in business for 21 years burned down Friday night after an event.Banks Florist on Flag Chapel Road burned down after a reception was held at the location.”To watch my dad, to watch his hard-earned business go up in flames, it was hard, and we have a fire station right across the street,” Timekia Ford, one of the owner’s daughters, said.The daughters say their dad has been a pillar in the community, from providing free flowers for funerals to hosting weekly Bible studies. The owners say they are determined to keep the business open.
