General Hotel Management (GHM) has expanded its
portfolio of hotels in the Middle East with the opening of The
Chedi Katara Hotel & Resort in Doha, Qatar.
Developed in partnership with Katara Cultural
Village by Qatari real estate consortium, Triple A Holdings, the
new hotel is located along a 300-metre shoreline in the heart of Katara Cultural Village, a
30-minute drive from Hamad International Airport and close to theatres, concert halls,
exhibition galleries, mosques, restaurants, shops, a park and an
open amphitheatre.

The Chedi Katara is a 91-key resort with 59
rooms and suites offering views of the Gulf, as well as 32 villas of
varying categories, each extending into its own private garden
with a private pool, offering complete seclusion and tranquility
in the heart of the city.
The Hills of Katara surround the entire property,
offering exceptional privacy for guests.
Alongside access to The Chedi Club, guests staying
in a Chedi Club Room, Chedi Beach Club Room, Katara Suite, Katara
Beach Suite, Royal Suite or Royal Villa receive exclusive benefits including complimentary daily breakfast, afternoon tea, laundry service and use of the board meeting
room, with a selection of refreshments such as coffee, tea and
juices.
The resort’s spa features an area for men with two
private spa suites and a dedicated private hammam, a ladies area featuring two private spa suites and two
women’s-only hammams, and a dedicated Couple’s Room accessible
from both the male and female sides.
Other facilities at the hotel include a choice of
F&B outlets, two meeting rooms and a choice of event spaces.
