Applications are now open for the UN Immersion Programme, a 5-day field visit to Geneva organized by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), taking place in both July and August 2023. Scholarships are available.

The United Nations Immersion Programme includes lectures from experts, training workshops, conferences, and guided tours through UN premises. Attend dedicated career development sessions to learn how to optimize your CV, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile, from professionals.
The field visit includes activities with the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG), the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and other Geneva-based institutions.
The programme is offered into two editions:
- July Edition: from 19 June – 21 July 2023. Field Visit: 17- 21 July 2023
- Premium Package: Includes the full preparatory e-learning course and accommodations in Geneva.
- A Basic Package is also available that includes the field visit only (does not include accommodations in Geneva)
- August Edition: from 24 July – 25 August 2023. Field Visit: 21 – 25 August 2023
- Premium Package: Includes the full preparatory e-learning course and accommodations in Geneva.
- A Basic Package is also available that includes the field visit (does not include accommodations in Geneva)
A maximum of 30 participants are accepted per edition. All individuals are welcome to register, and spots will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
