Derry model Joanna Cooper and her husband, Ireland rugby star Conor Murray, have announced they are expecting their first child together.
The former Miss Universe who married scrum-half Murray last year in a wedding in Portugal took to her Instagram account to confirm the pair will be become “Mom and Dad”.
The post, which was shared to both Joanna and Conor’s social media accounts, features the pair in a black and white video, with Conor holding his wife’s stomach.

The pair are known for sharing their personal lives on social media following their wedding in the Algarve last year. She also shared some photos from the intimate ceremony including a snap of her and Conor walking down the aisle hand-in-hand as their Cavapoo pranced along in front of them, as well as a pic of the pooch in a tux.
Mrs Murray, who has over 160k followers on Instagram, also recently launched her very own brand of pre-mixed cocktails, titled ‘Coops Cocktails’ in honour of her maiden name Cooper.
Last month her husband ended speculation over his rugby future after the Munster star signed a contract extension with the United Rugby Championship (URC) outfit and the Irish Rugby Football Union.
The extension means he will remain with Munster for a 15th season, having debuted for the senior side in 2010. He has won 116 caps for Ireland.
