The Director General (DG), Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP), Mamman Ahmadu, has urged public servants to continue to build and improve on good ideals that our fore fathers left, so as to build strong institutions.
The DG made this known during the launch of the BPP SERVICOM (Service Compact with all Nigerians) in his office.
He pointed out that there is room for continuous improvement as there is no perfection in any laid down foundation, adding that we must transform the country positively by giving quality services to the public and living a stronger structure for the future generations to build on.
The DG said the Bureau, as an organisation, is working hard to ensure service delivery in the Procurement Sector.
He pledged the management’s support in ensuring that the Bureau continues to strive towards a public procurement process that shuns all forms of corruption with a view to promoting Transparency, Efficiency, Accountability and Good Governance.
The National Coordinator, Servicom, Mrs. Nnenna Akajemeli, during her presentation, said the Charter gives organisations the opportunity to assess themselves and see where they could improve on in service delivery.
She commended by the DG and his team for the opportunity to launch the Charter.
The National coordinator was represented by Ngozi Akinbodewa, Head of Operations, Servicom.
